Michael successfully established Mordue Engineering in 2006 after many years working as a structural engineer for a multidiscipline engineering consultancy.
 
Michael has extensive experience in the provision of structural and civil engineering consulting services for many types of buildings and engineered structures  including low, medium and high-rise commercial and residential buildings, large industrial facilities, as well as educational, healthcare and retail developments.

Michael’s involvement in these projects has ranged from preliminary design, through to detailed design, certification and construction supervision.
 
Michael has expertise in steel, concrete (reinforced and post-tensioned), masonry and timber design, design of industrial floor slabs, design of retention systems and computer analysis of structures including dynamic analysis of structures for wind and earthquake loads.
