Graduating from The University of Melbourne in 1994 with Honours in Engineering and a second degree in Computer Science, Robert rapidly worked his way into an Associate Director's position in a leading Multidiscipline Engineering Consultancy. He is now a highly regarded and respected engineer and joint Director of Mordue Engineering. Robert has also gained international experience as an engineer in both Hong Kong and the UK, where he worked on major projects from the feasibility stage through to construction.

In 2007 Robert was invited to be the lead structural engineer in a PPP consortium for the new Royal Children's Hospital project. This consortium went on to secure the bid and Robert has been instrumental in managing the subsequent design and construction process for one of the biggest building projects in Melbourne. Even after he moved into Mordue Engineering he remained an integral part of the project as a consultant.

Robert always takes a hands-on, proactive approach and has built an enviable reputation in the industry as an innovative engineer of high technical expertise. This knowledge, together with his problem solving ability, enables him to find optimal solutions to project constraints. To develop appropriate structural systems which meet the restrictions of the site and the vision of the design, Robert provides a coordinated approach by working closely with both the architects and services engineers.
